Meet Certified and professionally practicing Hand Analyst, Peggie Arvidson. She is a Career Transition Specialist.

When and how did you start reading hands?

I honestly started “reading” hands after taking out a book from the public library – probably in 5th grade. It was so intriguing but the books were confusing. I started again in college and then I completed my IIHA certification in 2005.

Are you specializing in any particular area of hand analysis?

I specialize in using hand analysis to help people find fulfilling and lucrative careers.

What is most meaningful to you about reading hands?

The wisdom they hold. I see each hand and each reading as an opportunity to affirm another’s true worth and mirror it back to them.

Has your life lesson ever shown up during a reading?  If so, how and what did you learn from that experience?

My life lesson is Trust/Surrender/Intimacy Challenges – so, on a regular basis it can show up. Especially when I was a “new” reader – I was so afraid that I wasn’t ready. I didn’t trust my inner wisdom and my hard-earned training. I learn regularly that when I lean into the mysteries of life, no matter how they show up, I get to live more fully.

How do you apply your life purpose and your life lesson, in other words, how do you see them work together?

Some spiritual teachers believe that our life purpose IS to learn lessons and then pass them on in whatever way we can be of service.  I look at my lesson/purpose in this way. For me I could no more separate one from the other than I could separate my foot from my leg. My lesson is the greatest gift and teacher I have and every time I choose to learn to trust (myself/Spirit/my fellow beings) wisely, opportunities to expand my purpose in the world abound. It happens in my business, in my love partnership and in my family and friend dynamics all the time!

What are your fingerprint patterns?

Do you have a bad experience you can share to help others avoid a similar situation?

Every time I’ve said “yes” to discounting my prices or working with someone who “had to have a reading RIGHT NOW” I’ve been sorry. For me it’s about knowing your boundaries and honoring them and not falling prey to someone else’s “stuff.”

What advice would you give to new students of Hand Analysis?

Learn the data and don’t be afraid of your intuition! I was so “anti” intuition and focused on data that I think it took me longer to find my focus. (This is definitely a life lesson situation for Trust people!)

What intentions do you have for your Hand Analysis practice during the next six months?

To serve more people who are ready to get out of their soul-sucking jobs – by showing them the gifts and talents and opportunities in their hands. I’d really like to impact as many government agencies and contracting companies in a positive way as I can. I live around Washington DC, and it’s the land of the disgruntled brilliant employee. I’d love to help at least 100 of them find joy at work so that they can positively change the world from ‘inside the system.’

OK for colleagues to contact you?  If so, do you prefer phone or email? List phone and/or email
