Finding True North

Have you found your “right” work, yet? If so, was it an easy road to discover your ideal vocation? Or did you have to drag yourself to work you didn’t like on your path to get to your ‘just right’ work? Or are you asking yourself, “What else could I be doing rather than ‘this’? Or do you just feel flat out – stuck?

Clients see me when they feel empty and unfulfilled, which is exactly how I felt before deciding to leave my corporate career of 23 years in 2009. By outer world standards I had the optimal career and a killer salary!  I was truly happy for many early-years at Hughes Aircraft Company. During the later-years I was proud to say, “I work for the Boeing Company.” However, the tasks I did didn’t thrill my Inner satisfaction meter.

People typically ask me for guidance when they are

·      Looking for something new, but are just not sure what it is

·      Preparing to leave an old job or way of life

·      Looking for validation that they are currently on the right path

·      Feeling under utilized at work and want more responsibility and a promotion

·      Preparing to retire and wondering what to “do” next

·      Hesitating to quite a job they hate when they are within 5 years of retirement

This is when hand analysis and coaching pair together for optimal results because people can move through change with clarity and conviction. I believe people truly want to step into a bigger aspect of themselves.

Everyone seeks fulfillment and each person has a unique formula for fulfillment.

When have you felt fulfilled and how did you know you were?  For me I have feel deep inner peace, centeredness and a sense of equanimity.

Traveling through the Trees

Where is your path taking you?

After my mom died in 2005 my life took a drastic turn toward optimal living. All the sudden life became very, very precious to me. She always encouraged me to not only work, but to do work I loved.
